A non-celebrity , not much is known about Heo Hyun beyond his affiliation with the Jung Joonyoung molka chatroom. Additionally implicated in the gangrape carried out by Jung Joonyoung, Choi Jonghoon, and Kim Incheol, Heo received an insulting sentence of 8 months in prison, suspended by two years. Heo appealed the sentence but the higher courts upheld it.

In 2025, it was announced by leading K-Pop IP company, Muse M, that they had appointed Heo as the head of their global operations and China office.
